My 4 year old female husky has developed a rash around her mouth over the last few months. There are no open sores but a white crust forms with slight hairloss and seems to be slowly spreading further away from her mouth. She has been to 3 different vets, all have done skin scrapping thinking it was mites all getting negative results. There has been no change in diet, medication or grooming. Her only ‘symptom’ is after she eats she rubs her face all over the floor, couch or bed. Any thoughts?
Mine had something similar to this, I found this site and I think it may be zinc deficiency. https://www.snowdog.guru/correcting-zinc-deficiency-in-huskies/
